Under-13s Double Bill …

Shamrocks’ Under-13 greens travelled to Shandonagh on Wednesday evening to play the home team in their opening match of the 2021 season. Team mentors Óisin Masterson and Ritchie Daly were thrilled with their charges’ efforts against a strong home team. Shamrocks are fielding two teams in the Under-13 league competition, and it was great to see well over thirty players getting plenty of game time. The green and whites put in a superb second half display with every player contributing. Special mention to the two youngest players on the night, Theo Kelly in goals, whose distribution was top class and Darragh Daly who fired in our third goal. The Shamrocks white team took on a strong Multyfarnham team in Springfield. Our lads put on a fantastic display of football with some excellent moves throughout the field. We had Multy under some real pressure in their own half and we converted some fine scores.

Unfortunately, Multy were too strong for us on the evening.
