Under-10 Girls Blitz

Massive well done to our Under-10 girls team who travelled to St Loman’s on Saturday to play in their first blitz of 2021. We had a total of 28 girls available and entered three teams into the blitz (a first for Mullingar Shamrocks).

We played games against St Lomans, Ballycomoyle, Rochfortbridge, The Downs, Bunbrosna and Ballynacargy. The girls all played fantastic football and showed great skills in each of their games.

The morning was great fun and massive thank you to Ted Cronin and all the referees in St Loman’s who made sure it was a fun filled morning for everyone involved.

Special Notice: We have come a long way since we had just 1 girl at Under-10 level. That girl was one of the team coaches-managers today so it's good to see 100% retention.
