Back in the Day ...

In December 1977 the AGM of Mullingar Shamrocks was held in the Lake County Hotel.

These awards were made:

Clubman of the Year: Pat 'Spike' McCormack

Footballer of the Year: Tom Bardon

Young Footballer of the Year: Ned Moore

Officers elected were:

Chairman: Fr P. A. Mackin

Vice-Chairman: Paddy Murray.

Secretary: Sean Nolan.

Treasurer: Dan O' Dowd.

And Ned still serves: J. F. Kennedy comes to mind 'And so my fellow Americans Ask not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your country'
