On the road again ... Saturday, 13 July, Mullingar Shamrocks v Garrycastle, 7.30 in Moate

The defence of our county title begins tomorrow evening in Moate when we take the field against Garrycastle at 7.30. Garrycastle were the only team to beat us last year in the championship and are the hottest of favourites to repeat the medicine this year. Garrycastle produced one of their best displays in recent years in the ACL Division 1 final against Rosemount and a repeat display will stretch our injury hit fifteen to the limit.

However we thrived in the outsiders role last season and there is no reason why we can't do the same again. So don't forget to. come out to support the boys in green who will be wearing blue on the night!

And on the weekend that Bob Dylan togs out in Nowlan Park let's hope that we don't get tangled up in blue ...
