The late Edward McCormack ...

The members of Mullingar Shamrocks GAA Club were saddened to learn of the death of Edward McCormack and extend sincere sympathy to Damien, Darrell, Kieran, Evan and Aimee, and to his grandchildren, sister Marian, daughters-in-law Jeannette, Fiona, Amie and Emma, Aimee's fiancé Marc and to the extended McCormack family circle and friends.

Edward reposes at Newbrook Chapel on today (Wednesday) from 5.00pm concluding with evening prayers at 7.00pm. Edward's Funeral Mass takes place on Thursday at 11.00am in the Church of the Assumption, Taughmon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Kieran McCormack has been secretary of the Mullingar Shamrocks LGF Committee for the last few years and was part of the coaching team of our Under-14 LGF team this season. Kieran's daughter, Chloe Flood McCormack is goalkeeper on our Under-16 LGF team.
