Tom Hunt's Little Book of Irish Athletics has been included on the long list of books selcted for the eir Sports Book of the Year 2018. It's nice to get an encore as Christy Moore might sing but this award is normally won by 'celebrity' biographies but if Sean Cavanagh or Des Cahill get an award it's time to give up ... my choice Paul Rouse The Hurlers, if not then The Lost Soul of Eamonn Magee .... superb book but not for light reading
