One More Time ...

And so we reach the final leg of our Westmeath journey today when we line out against the four-in-row seeking reigning county champions St Loman's (the parallels with the current Dublin side are uncanny). The final destination was not part of our early season schedule but with ferocious work rate and determination and some excellent displays of football we are worthy of our place in the final. Mullingar Shamrocks have to all intents and purposes played knock-out championship football as our matches against St Mary's and Rosemount were must win events as well as the quarter and semi-final games. This will be to our advantage as we face the raging hot favourites. We would like to wish our panel of players and team management the best of luck and thank them for what their combined efforts have done for the club this year at adult level. You have made Mullingar Shamrocks great again. The throw-in is at 3.30 with Mullingar Shamrocks scheduled to enter the field of play at 3.13 and Niall Warde is in charge of the whistle.

Wear the colours with pride one more time.
