Casey and Tye ...

The Charleston performed to the tune of Cabaret brings together Casey McDermott and Tye Adamson, two senior football players from Mullingar Shamrocks. Casey has been involved in dancing from a young age and has been associated with dance schools including The Academy in the Mullingar Arts Centre.  She has played roles in three pantomimes as well as in the musicals Godspell, Happy Days and Miss Saigon with Mullingar Student Players in the Arts Centre.  Casey is a member of the Mullingar Shamrocks Ladies Gaelic Football senior team and has been playing with Shamrocks since she was twelve-years-of-age. Tye Adamson has also been playing with Mullingar Shamrocks since his under-age days and the DIT student has given tremendous service to the club and is always willing to help with coaching and refereeing at under-age level. Tye will make his on-stage dancing debut in The Fence sponsore Strictly Shamrocks on 12 May, but like most footballers of note, he has been known to show some neat footwork on the floor of the famous Copper Face Jacks.
