Mullingar Shamrocks on International Women’s Day

It is customary on this day to recognise the contribution of the many women to the making Mullingar Shamrocks. If, and when, the LGFA, the Camogie Association and the GAA fully integrate in 2027 the transition for our club will be seamless.
Currently 9 of the officers posts in the club are female managed. It is not an exaggeration to state that Mullingar Shamrocks are one of the most integrated clubs in the country.
The photographs attached to our Facebook Page recognise the varied contribution of our female membership over the years.
